8-bit Exhibition

8-bit was an exhibition of original artworks from the 1980s created using ZX Spectrum and BBC Micro computers. The artworks were created by Geoff Davis and Martin Rootes as part of the Micro Arts project. The exhibition was organised by Interact Digital Arts and the Computer Arts Archive, with support from the Computer Arts Society. It was held at the LCB Depot Lightbox in Leicester and ran between the 7th and 29th June 2021. The opening event was on Wednesday 9th and an Interact Live music/visuals event was held on Saturday 26th. The artwork displayed is now part of the Computer Arts Archive collection held in Leicester.
